Frequently Asked Questions

What is iSealMail?

iSealMail is a free disposable email service. Open a public inbox instantly without registration. When you need long-term ownership, claim the address as a private mailbox.

How is a temp mail different from regular email?

Temp mail requires no registration and addresses are ready instantly, ideal for one-time verification codes. Regular email requires signup with password protection and is meant for daily communication.

Can I receive verification codes?

Yes. iSealMail public inboxes can receive verification emails from most websites and apps. The page auto-refreshes to show new messages.

How long are emails kept?

Email retention depends on system configuration. Public inbox emails may be cleaned after a period. For long-term retention, claim the address as a private mailbox.

Is a public inbox safe? Can others read my mail?

Public inboxes are visible to anyone who knows the address. Do not use them for banking, medical, or sensitive mail. After claiming as private, all mail is visible only to you.

What changes after claiming?

The mailbox becomes private. Historical and future mail is visible only to you. It cannot be released or transferred. You can also enable Telegram new-mail alerts.

Which email domains are supported?

The homepage shows all currently enabled and verified domains. You can use any enabled domain to generate an email address.

Can I send emails?

Currently iSealMail only supports receiving emails, not sending.

How do I set up Telegram alerts?

After logging in, bind the Telegram bot on your account page. Claimed private mailboxes will automatically receive new-mail push notifications.

Do I need to register to use it?

No. Public inboxes work by just entering an address. Registration is only needed for claiming private mailboxes and binding Telegram.
